Ms. Monica Sudhir

‘Life Skills’ is now part of the curriculum at VIS and in sync with our core belief that Education should be Holistic. The activities and discussions planned for the LS classes are age appropriate and interactive. Taught by Ms. Monica Sudhir, counselling psychologist, who visits the school on a regular basis these classes are conducted throughout the year. According to Ms. Monica, “students receive a lot of training to excel academically, but are sometimes unable to interact appropriately with others, cope with stress, manage the expectations of parents, teachers and peers, solve problems and make informed decisions. This leaves them feeling unsure of themselves and students are not able to live up to their full potential. Life Skills sessions help students to express themselves freely and seek answers about their lives.”
